WHY CHOOSE
TITANIUM TUTORS?
The benefits of private tutoring with Titanium Tutors
Run By A Qualified Teacher
Our Founding Director, Joe Hytner, oversees the tutor recruitment process. Since 2011 he has been bringing to bear valuable teaching knowledge gained from his PGCE. He personally ensures that the quality of teaching in the agency always meets the highest standards.
Rigorous Tutor Selection
We are proud of our highly selective vetting process, which consists of several stages and ensures we recruit only the very best tutors. Applicants teach a mock lesson to one of our most experienced tutors, and are assessed to see if they have a fun and effective teaching style.
Thoughtful Matches
Our helpful admin staff are all highly qualified graduates with exceptional academic backgrounds and extensive teaching experience. They are therefore particularly well placed to consider each student's specific needs and to pair them up carefully with their ideal tutor (see Process).
Tutor Background Checks
We are thorough and forensic with ID checking, qualifications verification, DBS checks and the taking of testimonials from previous parents and students. Our tutors often tell us that we take greater care with these checks than other agencies. We also keep a close eye on the feedback tutors receive from our clients.
Regular Lesson Reports
After every lesson, tutors complete a report detailing what content was covered, what progress the student made, and the plan for future sessions. If there is any homework and a planned date/time for the next session, this will also be mentioned. These reports can then be emailed to students and parents if desired, or accessed from our online portal.
Trustworthy
We are an established company founded over a decade ago, with a reputation for doing things properly. We will never send you a tutor who we feel is unsuitable — we will let you know if we don't think we have the perfect tutor for you. We won’t make promises about grades or university applications. Instead we will do all that anybody can do: give your child the best possible chance.
